CMS Hub is designed to collect as little as possible about you.
The tools
The maintenance estimator, deadline calculator, care nights counter and letter builder run entirely in your web browser. What you type is not sent to us or stored on our server.
The letter builder offers an optional “remember on this device” box. If you tick it, your draft is saved in your browser’s local storage on that device only. Untick the box or use “Clear this letter” to remove it. We cannot see it.
Cookies
The public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only if you log in to manage the site.
Server logs
Like all websites, our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use these to identify visitors.
If you email us, we use your email only to reply, and delete correspondence when it is no longer needed. Please do not send personal details about your case.
“Was this page useful?”
Some pages ask whether they were useful. We count the yes and no answers for each page. We do not store your IP address: a scrambled, one-way token stops repeat votes for 24 hours and is then deleted automatically.
Embedded content and links
Some pages link to other websites, such as GOV.UK. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have rights under UK data protection law, including to ask what information we hold about you. Contact us at [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
